These Terms of Use apply to all use of this website (hereinafter the “Site”) provided by Enkom Oy (hereinafter “Enkom” or “we”). These Terms of Use may be supplemented or amended as our business changes. By accessing and using this Site, you are deemed to have accepted the current version of the Terms of Use.
2 Services
This Site contains company-related information and services for viewing and downloading. We reserve the right to discontinue the operation of the Site, in whole or in part, at any time. Due to the nature of the Internet and computer systems, we do not guarantee the continuous availability of the Site.
3 Storage and Use of Visitor and Customer Information
We store personal data submitted via forms or email through the Site for our own sales and marketing purposes. We may freely contact you based on the contact information you provide.
We retain this data for as long as it is necessary for business purposes. The applications and services we use may also be located outside the EU. We do not disclose or sell personal data to external third parties for their unrestricted use. However, for our own sales and marketing purposes, we may disclose personal data to partners who handle our business affairs and store personal data in an application or service outside our website, such as email communication software or customer relationship management (CRM) software.
3.1 Storage and Use of Information from Customers Submitting Requests for Quotes and Placing Orders
We store the personal data from quote requests and orders placed through our website solely for our own sales purposes. Personal data is used for, including but not limited to, preparing quotes, confirming purchases, entering into contracts, storing order history, and fulfilling orders.
We do not use personal data for marketing or advertising purposes unless the person contacting us has specifically granted permission for such use. However, we may notify you of important changes, updates, or other current matters related to the service or product being sold, such as a new product version or a service interruption. We may freely contact you using the contact information provided to make an offer or complete a transaction.
4 Rights of Use Regarding Information and Documents
These Terms of Use apply to all use of information, software, and documents on the Site. The information, software, and documents are protected by copyright laws, international copyright treaties, and intellectual property agreements.
5 Intellectual Property
The material contained on this Site, including all content, information, photographs, illustrations, graphics, names, trademarks, and logos, is the property of Enkom or its licensors. They are protected by copyright and trademark laws, as well as other intellectual property laws. Users of the Site have the right to browse and view the Site. The content of this Site may not be modified, copied, reproduced, sold, rented, used, supplemented, or otherwise exploited without Enkom’s prior written permission.
Using the name “Enkom” as a reference is permitted, for example, when creating a link to this website. Enkom must be notified in advance of such use.
6 User Obligations
When accessing or using this Site, the user must not
- harm other people, particularly minors, or infringe upon their rights;
- violate public decency;
- infringe intellectual property rights or other property rights;
- upload any content to the Site that contains a virus or other program capable of damaging data;
- transmit, store, or download hyperlinks or content to which the user has no right;
- distribute unsolicited emails or unfounded virus warnings, error warnings, or similar material;
- The user may not solicit participation in lotteries, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or similar activities.
- Enkom may block access to this Site at any time, particularly if the user violates any of the obligations set forth in these Terms of Use.
7 Hyperlinks
This Site may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites. Enkom is not responsible for the content of such websites and does not endorse or recommend the websites or their content as its own. Enkom does not monitor the information on such websites and is not responsible for their content or the information they provide. The user is solely responsible for their use of these websites.
8 Cookies and data stored in your browser
This site sets no cookies without your consent. We ask for your choice on your first visit, and you can change it at any time from the Cookie settings link at the foot of the page.
Necessary (always on). When you add a product to the quote list, that list is stored in your own browser (localStorage). Nothing is sent to us until you submit the request for quote. Your cookie choice is stored the same way. Site administrators are given session cookies when they log in; those are required for logging in to work.
Visitor statistics (always on, no cookies). We use Plausible, running on our own server, to see which pages interest visitors. It sets no cookies and builds no identifier that could follow a visitor from page to page or between sites. IP addresses are not stored. The data stays on our own server and is not passed to third parties.
Statistics (with consent). Google Analytics tells us in more detail how visitors move through the site and which products interest them. Uses cookies and transfers data to Google Ireland Limited.
Marketing (with consent). Google Ads measures how our advertising performs and targets it. Uses cookies and transfers data to Google Ireland Limited.
Statistics and marketing cookies are loaded only after you have consented to them. Without your consent, the site does not contact Google at all. Within Google’s services data may also be processed outside the EU; Google is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Embedded video. Where a page has a video, it is loaded from YouTube only when you click it, and we use the youtube-nocookie.com address. YouTube is not contacted before that click.
You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings. Some features of the site, such as the quote list, need browser storage in order to work.
